My Favorite Amazon Travel Finds

Amazon travel items

There’s some things that just make travel easier and with Amazon, there always seems to be a new travel gadget, snack, or item I discover. Today, I’m outlining some of my favorite travel essentials from Amazon. I’ve actually used these items and these are now must-haves in my bag. So without further adieu…my favorite Amazon travel finds!

  1. Chomps Meat Sticks

I never leave home without some healthy snacks in my carry-on. Even if I have lounge access, and can grab food before heading to my gate, I like to have some backup healthy snacks in case my flight is delayed or the airplane is stuck on the tarmac or if I’m hungry when I land. Having some healthy options with me makes me not only stick with my goals, but also helps me not spend extra money on expensive airport food.

I like meat sticks because they are high in protein and will actually keep me full. I’m always trying to eat more protein. I like the Chomps brand, but there’s a bunch of other good, clean brands out there. PaleoValley is another good one.

  1. Portable Charger

This is a non-negotiable in my bag. A portable device charger is always with me when I travel. I’ve had this charger for years now and it’s still going strong. I love that it has a USB C and 2 USB ports. I’ve never had an issue with this charge. It can charge any device with those ports. It charges quickly and I can charge my IPhone twice before needing to plug it in. For me, it’s critical to have a portable charger with me because my IPhone is my camera when I travel, and it’s my map. I don’t want to be lost in a new city/country without the ability to navigate. It’s also a safety thing. I want to keep my phone charged in case of emergencies too, just in case I need to call an Uber in a bad part of town or an actual emergency happens.

  1. Contoured Eye Mask

Love me a good sleep mask! Not only do I need one of these when I travel, but I actually use one every night. I just like a total blackout when I sleep. This is out of my control more when I travel so I’m always sure to bring an eye mask. I’ve tried many different ones in the past, but this one takes the cake! I don’t wake up with lines on my face, and it’s so plush. It’s very comfortable to wear at night. It’s silky soft, but the BEST feature is that it’s contoured. This is great because then my eyelashes aren’t smooshed in the morning and my eyes can move around under the eye mask and not feel so confined. Does this make me an eye mask snob? 🙂

  1. She’s Birdie Alarm

Safety first! Thankfully, I’ve never had to use this personal alarm, but it does lend some piece of mind while traveling. It provides some level of security without being a weapon. This little keychain alarm will detour any unwanted threats by sending out a high pitched alarm sound, along with a flashing light. This tends to draw attention to you and that’s exactly what shady characters DON’T want. Of course, using common sense will greatly reduce threats, but it’s always nice to have a backup plan in case something goes down. You can attach this alarm to your purse, belt, etc. for easy access and then pull on it if you need to sound the alarm.

  1. Clearly Filtered Water Bottle

I never go anywhere without my water bottle. I don’t want to constantly be buying plastic water bottles, and I prefer to drink out of stainless steel or glass whenever possible. The problem I would run into though was that I was filling my bottle at public water fountains or hotel gyms that don’t have great filtration systems. That’s where Clearly Filtered comes in! Inside their bottles are small filters that screw into the straw. It filters out 99.9% of 220+ harmful contaminants including fluoride, heavy metals, chlorine, semi-volatile compounds, PFOA, and PFOS.

  1. Compression Packing Cubes

I’ve used packing cubes for years, but recently came across these compression packing cubes, and they have been a game changer. What makes them different from other packing cubes is the two zippers on each cube. One zipper is to close the cube and then the second zipper is to “compress” the cube down even smaller. So not only do the cubes keep things organized, they also save space in my suitcase! These have become a new favorite!

  1. Cord Organizer

Nowadays, I travel with so many tech gadgets and they all seem to come with their own charging cord. I like a way to keep them all organized and this compact, zipped cord organizer has served me well for several years now. It has pockets for multiple cords, a larger pocket that fits my external hard drive, smaller pockets that fit earbuds, and two zippered sides. This is so easy to throw in your carry on for easy access and it’s just all contained. A must have in my opinion!

  1. Apple AirTag

Gone are the days of fearing that your suitcase will be lost forever when it doesn’t come around on the baggage claim carousel. As long as you put an Apple AirTag in your bag, you’ll be able to track exactly where it’s at. If the airline is not able to find it, you can show them where it was left and get it on its way to you. I used to almost always travel with only a carry-on because I didn’t want to risk losing my luggage, but now I have peace of mind if I check my bag.

Well, there you have it! Some of my favorite must-have Amazon travel finds. I’ve only talked about 8 items here, but I have a whole Amazon storefront of travel finds I love. You can check them out here

Until next time…I hope you have happy, healthy travels!
